Rekindle is back for 2023 and taking place on Sunday 14th of May 2023 at The Courthouse Gallery Ennistymon.

We’re excited for this Sunday's Rekindle: Festival of Lost Skills and are delighted to share this year's programme with you!

All events are limited capacity and will be on a first come first serve basis so come down nice and early if there's a particular event that's calling you.

Our main display and demonstration of skills will be at The Courthouse Gallery which for Rekindle will be transformed into a world of crafting wonders with skills ranging from wood turning, spinning, sugan chair making, felting, vintage tractor restoration and much more to discover.

Common Knowledge Kitchen will be serving food from 12.30pm - 5pm on the day of the festival and the Carlavan will be close by serving teas, coffee and treats.

If you have any questions on the day of the festival look for the Common Knowledge crew & volunteers in high vis vests!

We look forward to seeing you Sunday.

Festival Programme

Why Rekindle?

More than ever, we are coming back to appreciate the resourcefulness and the practical creativity of generations past, and the value of a do-it-yourself, truly sustainable life.

It promises to be a wonderful day out and a real opportunity to celebrate those who lead their lives with resourceful and purposeful creativity. The festival will also have a great traditional music and storytelling aspect lead once again by local and the well regarded musician and seanchai Aindrais de Staic taking place at the celebrated Salmon Bookshop and Literary Centre.

If interested, please get in touch - we would be delighted to hear from you - contact Katie on rekindle@ourcommonknowledge.org // 083 1500 535.
