Open Day: Heritage and Biodiversity Tour of the Land
PLACES LIMITED - FREE ADMISSION
You are invited to join the Common Knowledge team for our Heritage and Biodiversity Open Day. This event is perfect for anyone interested in sustainable practices, nature, biodiversity, heritage and history, or if you’re simply curious about Common Knowledge. It’s also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and connect with others in the community.
1pm - 3pm: Guided Walk: Embark on a guided tour through our Biodiversity trail. Discover the diverse flora and fauna that thrive here and learn about our ongoing conservation efforts. Join us for a talk on the traditional heritage methods we use onsite. We discuss how techniques like cob, lime and plaster, and traditional farming skills are used in the management and regeneration of the site. Learn about the history and sustainable practices that help preserve our heritage, followed by tea and biscuits with your fellow attendees. This part of the day is suitable for all ages, with children accompanied by an adult at all times.
We look forward to welcoming you to an afternoon of exploration, education, and community connection!
